Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg, lightly beaten

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for cooking

Burger buns

Lettuce, tomato slices, and your favorite condiments for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until just combined; avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.

Cook the Burgers: Once the oil is hot, add the chilled chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

Serve: Toast the burger buns in the skillet if desired. Assemble your burgers by placing a patty on a bun, then add lettuce, tomato slices, and any other condiments you like.

Enjoy: Serve immediately while they’re hot and juicy!
