Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Olive oil (for cooking)

Burger buns (4)

Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing and chopping the fresh spinach, shredding the white cheddar cheese, and finely chopping the onion and garlic.

Mix the Patties: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until combined.

Form Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they are slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet or grill over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and are golden brown.

Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on a separate skillet or grill until they are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Once the patties are cooked, assemble your burgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings of your choice.

Serve: Enjoy your delicious White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers hot, with your favorite sides like sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
