Ingredients

1 can of crescent roll dough

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, diced

4 oz sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as indicated on the package.

On the wide end of each triangle, place 1-2 pieces of diced mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni.

Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano and garlic powder over the cheese and pepperoni.

Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle up tightly towards the pointed end to form a crescent shape. Ensure the filling is secured within the dough.

Place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, pointing the tips down to prevent them from unrolling during baking.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of each croissant roll with the egg wash for a golden finish.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each roll, adding a cheesy crust to your croissants.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 8 croissant rolls
