Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne works well)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet, let rest, and slice into strips.

Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Add Tomatoes: Toss in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Create the Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the Italian seasoning and let simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

Incorporate Cheese: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

Cook the Pasta: Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly. Add the sliced chicken on top and toss gently once more.

Serve: Plate your Marry Me Chicken Pasta, garnish with fresh basil leaves and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy!
