2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice level)

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups spinach, fresh

9 oz pasta of choice (penne or fettuccine recommended)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest, and slice into strips.

      Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

        Add Cream and Cheese: Lower the heat and carefully stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer and thicken for about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until just wilted.
