2 lbs chicken wings

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon zest (freshly grated)

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

    Seasoning Mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon zest, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to combine.

      Prepare Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them get crispy when baked.

        Coat Wings: Add the olive oil to the wings and toss them to coat evenly. Then sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings and toss again to ensure they are well-coated.

          Arrange Wings: Spread the seasoned wings out in a single layer on the wire rack above the baking sheet. This allows air to circulate and aids in crisping them.

            Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes, turning the wings halfway through. Bake until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

              Prepare Honey Glaze: While the wings bake, combine the honey and fresh lemon juice in a small bowl and whisk together until smooth.

                Glaze the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and drizzle the honey glaze over them while they're still hot. Toss gently to coat.

                  Serve: Transfer the wings to a serving platter and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
