Ingredients

4 slices of garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)

4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

4 slices of mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the unsalted butter, garlic powder, salt, and chopped parsley until well combined. Set aside.

Assemble the Sandwich: Take two slices of garlic bread; spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer a slice of cheddar cheese followed by a slice of mozzarella cheese. Top with another slice of garlic bread, buttered side facing out. Repeat with the second sandwich.

Grill the Sandwiches: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled garlic bread grilled cheese sandwiches in the skillet.

Cook Until Golden: Grill the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Adjust the heat if needed to ensure the bread doesn't burn.

Serve: Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve hot, optionally garnished with additional parsley.
