Ingredients

1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skinless and cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: In a large bowl, season salmon pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss until evenly coated.

Coat the Salmon: In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Dredge each salmon piece into the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until honey dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly (about 2-3 minutes). Set aside.

Fry the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated salmon bites in a single layer (working in batches if necessary). Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Combine and Serve: Once all salmon bites are fried, drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the crispy bites or toss them in the pan briefly to coat. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Enjoy: Serve warm with steamed rice or fresh salad!
