Cheesy Taco Sticks

1 package of refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup cooked ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Salsa and sour cream for dipping

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a skillet over medium heat, combine cooked ground beef and taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until the meat is well coated and heated through.

      Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Cut the dough into strips, about 2 inches wide.

        Take a strip of dough and place a spoonful of the taco meat mixture on one end, followed by a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, black beans, and jalapeños if using.

          Roll the dough over the filling, enclosing it completely, and pinch the edges to seal. Place the prepared taco stick seam side down on the baking sheet.

            Repeat this process until all the dough and filling are used up.

              Brush the tops of the taco sticks with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the taco sticks are golden brown and cheese is bubbling.

                  Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with salsa and sour cream for dipping!
