Ingredients

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Toss until the beef is well coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets to the skillet, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.
